Meet the dedicated Florida filmmakers who took time of their lives to take the opportunity to join in on the production of the short film, My Date With A Vampire, with the goal of turning it into a feature length series.

Steven Hernandez
Steven Hernandez is originally from Brooklyn, New York. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in film production from Full Sail University. While at Full Sail, Steven held various positions on several short films, including 2nd AC, Production Assistant, Director, Producer, and Screenwriter.

Irving Xavier Martinez
Irving Xavier Martinez is an independent filmmaker in Orlando, Fl. He has majored in the MFA for Film Production at Full Sail University. He has worked in several film projects as Production Design, Boom Mic, and Grip. He has become knowledgeable in screenwriting, sound, editing and other positions in the filming industry, to gain a vast knowledge for a successful career in the future. His many interests are mainly in storytelling, writing and musical scoring in films.

Jacob Koopman
Jacob Caleb Koopmann grew up in the country
parts of Elizabeth Colorado. After graduating
early from high school in 2016, he served for
four years in the United States Marine Corps
and finished as the rank of Corporal. After
finishing his military service in 2020, he moved
to Florida where he got his Bachelor’s Degree
in Film at Full Sail University in July of 2022.
Now he’s continuing his studies at Full Sail
University to work towards getting his Master’s
Degree in Film as well.

Alexandria Akins
Alexandria Akins is a filmmaker based in
Orlando, Florida. She has graduated from Full Sail University, September 1st, 2023 and received her Master's Degree in Film Production. She returned from
obtaining her associate degree in Animation.
She has participated in various film sets as 1st AC and 2nd AC. She has also directed and participated as DP. She enjoys the creative side of being behind the camera as well as DP. Alexandria has over 10 years of editing
experience, using various programs. She enjoys matching music to various timed clips. Her dream is to one day become a cinematographer and travel the world.
